No going outside the budget!

I've been pretty busy these last few months. I was in school, working 2 jobs, saving up for the plane ticket to ATL, AND working on the landscaping in our backyard. So again, I've been one busy college student. So it really sucks when I'm sitting at home browsing the web and I see all these different items that I want. For starters, I really would like to finish our backyard landscaping project before I leave. It would suck to spend so much time destroying, rebuilding and decorating everything for the summer if I don't spend one moment in it during the summer. While researching I have found a few items that I would just love to put back there. But I've been getting inspiration from everywhere, especially landscaping and gardening magazines.

I really enjoy the calm, serene and tranquil vibe that get when looking at different asian and beach-side pictures. My backyard will not look anything like the images I see due to the lack of money. But when we're done I sure hope it looks something similiar to it. As I've said before I am on my way towards being healthier and slimmer in 30 days, so I've been walking/jogging down the neighborhood where I work and get new inspiration everyday I pass by the glamorous homes of Santa Monica. One of the things I really hope to add to the yard is a pond with a few goldfish and a turtle.

Anyways as you can see my funds are trickling done to every peice of detail I decide to add. On to other fun stuff because of the lack of fun spending that I can do I've decided to just make a wishlist of all the things that have caught my eye. I have a bad case of the 'forgetsies' so I think this might help me remember the things I want when I get more cash. For the past month I've been keeping my eye on the Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX camera lense. It would let in way more light than I'm getting with my 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S DX. Only thing is, it's $190+ which is why it's on my wishlist. I actually need to run some more yard errands, so I'll get back to the wish listing later.
